Over 50 Anti-aging L'Oréal Golden Age Glow Re-Activating Essence
Now that I'm over 50, okay, well into my Fabulous 50s, I am looking, as I always have done, into ways of antiaging. I was given some L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Glow Re-Activating Essence to try and the jury's out at the moment.
Anyone who knows me will also know that I am into natural beauty as well as natural makeup looks so if I can find a natural alternative to something which is less harmful to me, I will try it. Best of all is to make my own products so that I can be sure of what has gone into them.
I wasn't keen on the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Glow Re-Activating Essence smell. At first I though it was quite pleasant. A kind of powdery cosmetic scent. After very few minutes though I found it sickly but I'm just odd like that.
The texture is slippy like hyaluronic acid with a pink tinge and a bit of sparkle when the light hits it.
That's where I have the problem with this product. I feel that most hyaluronic acid products are a bit of a rip off when you can buy the hyaluronic acid powder and mix it with distilled water, a bit of glycerine if you wish and a drop or two of your favourite essential oil. It's miles better than the commercial products that you buy and takes only a few minutes to make.
You can get a bag of hyaluronic powder, the high molecular weight type of powder is best, for under a tenner (in spite of it looking like some sort of designer illegal white powder!!). A small bag of this hyaluronic powder will last you ages and save you a fortune as well as save your skin with an amazing hydration.
Check out my video, the recipe is there in the description. Hope you like it.
